Fields: eResource Central Search Source Tasks

eResource Central creates search sources from the collections that you create in BLUEcloud Central. Because eResource Central manages the search sources, you should never need to run any of these task unless directed by SirsiDynix Customer Support. This page lets you verify that the tasks have run correctly. If any of the eResource Central tasks report an error, contact SirsiDynix Customer Support.

Scheduled Tasks > eResource Central Search Source Tasks

Name

Displays the name of the scheduled task. The task name indicates the purpose of the task.

Status

Indicates the current state of the task.

Last Run

Displays the time and date (in the time zone where the server is located) when the task finished its previously triggered job.

Next Run

Displays the next time and date (in the time zone where the server is located) when the task is scheduled to be triggered.

Management options

Lets view task activity. Because eResource Central controls these tasks, you should not trigger these tasks or schedule them. If any have the status "Error", contact SirsiDynix Customer Support.

Option Description

Trigger Task

Runs the task. If another task is dependent on the current task running, the end of the current task will trigger the dependent task to run.

Important: Do not trigger any eResource Central task unless directed by SirsiDynix Customer Support.

Interrupt Task

Stops the execution of the current task.

View History

Displays the messages from the task’s past activities.

 

Suspend Task Schedule

Stops the schedule for the current task from triggering the execution of the task.

Resume Task Schedule

Enables Portfolio to trigger the execution of the task at the next scheduled time.

Reschedule Task Trigger

Schedules the interval between times when Portfolio runs the task.

Important: Do not schedule any eResource Central tasks.
